Moving in or out of a Chicago apartment or condo? We handle the tough stuff like COIs, elevators, city parking, and high-rises. No surprise fees, just honest work. 5.0 stars from 184 real Chicagoland neighbors.

Moving into a Chicago apartment or condo isn’t like moving into a house. You’ve got elevators to reserve, loading docks with tight windows, and parking that’ll get you ticketed if you don’t plan ahead. One missed detail and you’re stuck hauling a couch up four flights by hand.
We do this every day. Downtown or suburbs, high-rises or third-floor walk-ups, we know which buildings need a Certificate of Insurance and how to get them, which streets need parking permits, and how to keep the doorman happy. You won’t get nickel-and-dimed for every stair or long carry. You’ll get a straight answer up front.
That’s why we’re holding a perfect 5.0 on Google from 184 folks who’ve had to deal with the same headaches.

Apartment and condo moves are not a side gig for us. They are most of what we do.
We work with your building to get Certificates of Insurance and any forms they need. Downtown, River North, West Loop, we’ve seen it all.
We’ll work around your building’s elevator and dock schedule. If you need a tight two-hour window, we’ll make it work.
We’ll let you know if your block needs a moving permit for our truck. From Lincoln Park to Lakeview and South Loop, we help avoid tickets and headaches.
You’ll know up front if your walk-up or high-rise triggers a stair or long-carry fee. No last-minute surprises at the door.
We’ve moved clients in and out of dozens of downtown high-rises, from River North towers to classic Gold Coast condos.
Our guys know how to wrap, carry, and maneuver in tight hallways and elevators. Heavy-duty blankets and dollies every time.
Moving in a city means dealing with rules like insurance paperwork, parking, elevator reservations, and loading docks. If your building manager needs a COI, we’ll send it directly to them, usually within a day. Downtown high-rises often require extra paperwork and specific move windows. Buildings in Wicker Park or Logan Square may be more about navigating tight staircases and limited parking.
We ask the right questions before your move, not on the day-of. That means less wasted time, fewer headaches, and no chasing down the building engineer while your stuff sits on the curb.
Most Chicago high-rises and many condo associations require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before you can move in or out. It’s proof that we’re licensed and insured, and your building manager will usually have a sample form ready for us.
We’ll handle all the back and forth. You put us in touch with the building, we send the COI, and you move on with your life. No extra charge, no hassle.
If your building has a service elevator, you’ll need to reserve it. Some buildings require you to book weeks out; others just need a day’s notice. We’ll ask for details when you book, and if you need us to talk to your building, we will.
For most Chicago streets, we’ll help you figure out if a parking permit is needed for our truck. We can walk you through the city’s permit process, or handle it directly if you prefer. If we can’t park close, we’ll tell you if a long-carry fee applies (and why).
Most apartment moves in Chicago involve stairs. We include the first two flights in our base rate. If your move involves additional walk-up flights or a carry longer than 75 feet from the truck, we’ll go over the cost with you ahead of time so there are no surprise add-ons.
Specialty items (upright pianos, big safes) or very tight timelines may have a separate cost. But for most apartments and condos, what we quote is what you pay.
We sweat the building rules so you don’t have to.
Tell us your addresses, floor numbers, and any building rules. We’ll give you a real quote and let you know about anything special like COIs, elevator reservations, or parking permits.
We’ll check on your building’s insurance or elevator needs, help you reserve your spot, and get paperwork in before move day.
We show up on time with the right crew and equipment. We do a quick walk-through, wrap and protect your furniture, protect walls and floors, and get everything moved out efficiently without rushing the job.
Furniture goes where you want it. Beds reassembled. We sweep up, do a final walk-through, and the job is done when you say it’s done.
No hidden stair or elevator fees. Just the honest numbers.
Call 630-703-6077 or request a quote. We’ll break down your move with all fees listed, no surprises.
Yes—we handle COIs for any building that needs one. Just give us your building manager’s info and we’ll get the paperwork to them directly, usually same-day. No extra charge.
If your building has a service elevator, you’ll need to reserve it in advance. We’ll coordinate with you and your building on timing. If you’re not sure, check with your manager, they’ll know the rules.
Many Chicago streets require a permit for moving trucks. We’ll let you know if you need one based on your address and help guide you through the process, or handle it for you if you want.
The first two flights of stairs are included in our base rate. If you have more than that, or we can’t park close to your door (over 75 feet), we’ll quote any extra fees up front. No surprises.
All the time. From downtown high-rises to buildings in South Loop, River North, and Gold Coast, we’ve handled moves in just about every type of building in the city. We know how to deal with security desks, COIs, freight elevators, and loading docks.
Absolutely. We offer full packing services for apartments and condos. Let us know if you want us to handle the boxing, we’ll quote it as a separate line item.
We move apartments and condos from downtown to the suburbs, seven days a week.
