From Woodridge to Wicker Park, Aurora to Evanston — our crews run local moves across Chicagoland every day. Honest hourly pricing, real trucks, trained movers, and a 5.0-star record with 190+ neighbors.

Local moving sounds simple until you're doing it. Tight streets, parking permits, a third-floor walk-up, an elevator you forgot to reserve. One missed detail turns a six-hour move into a nightmare.
We do this every day. Our crews know which Chicago neighborhoods need parking permits, which Woodridge buildings have narrow stairwells, and which suburbs push back against big trucks. You get the same answer on-site that we quoted on the phone — because we planned for the real thing.
That's how we've earned a perfect 5.0 from 190 Google reviews. Not by being the cheapest. By actually doing what we said we would.

Local isn't just a price tier. It's how we staff, plan, and show up.
Call before 10am and we can often get you on the schedule that same day. Otherwise, next-day is standard — not a week out.
You pay for time, truck, and crew. No fuel surcharges, no 'stair fees', no surprises at the end. The rate we quote is the rate you pay.
Every mover on our truck is on our payroll — not day labor. They've been trained on furniture wrapping, walk-through protocol, and how to protect your home.
Woodridge, Naperville, Downers Grove, Oak Park, Evanston, Wicker Park, anywhere inside I-355. We know the streets, permits, and parking rules.
Full-size box trucks, heavy-duty moving blankets, straps, dollies, wardrobe boxes. You don't need to supply anything but the coffee.
Licensed and insured. If something gets dinged on our watch, it's on us to make it right — not argue about it.
In our book, local means any move that stays within Chicagoland — roughly anywhere inside I-355, though we service well beyond that. If your pickup and drop-off are both in the Chicago metro and we can do it in a single day, it's local.
That covers apartment-to-apartment moves in the city, suburb-to-suburb moves in DuPage or Will County, moves into or out of downtown high-rises, and everything in between. If your move crosses state lines or you'll be storing overnight, that becomes a long-distance job (different pricing, different logistics).
Local moves are priced hourly, by the crew size and truck. Our two-mover crew with one truck handles most 1–2 bedroom apartments. A three-mover crew makes sense for most single-family homes and tight-timeline moves.
There's a two-hour minimum (standard across the industry). After that, we bill in 15-minute increments from the time we arrive to the time we unload the last box. Travel time between pickup and drop-off is included in the clock. Travel to and from our Woodridge yard is a single flat trip fee — not billed hourly.
Truck, fuel, blankets, dollies, straps, and plastic wrap are all included — no equipment add-ons. Disassembly and reassembly of standard furniture (beds, desks, dining tables) is included.
Packing services, long-carry surcharges (when we can't park within a reasonable distance), and specialty items like pianos, gun safes, and pool tables are priced separately. We'll tell you up front if any of those apply to your move.
No sales calls, no bait-and-switch. Just a clear path from first call to keys-in-hand.
Tell us the pickup, drop-off, and rough size. We'll reply within the hour with a real hourly rate and a realistic window—not a lowball. Lock in your date with a small deposit, and we'll handle permits, elevator reservations, and any building requirements before the day.
Crew arrives on time, walks through with you, wraps the furniture, and gets you moved. You stay in charge — we ask before anything tricky.
Boxes land in the right rooms. Beds go back together. Final walkthrough, and you pay for exactly the time we used. Done.
We publish our rates because hidden pricing is how movers lose trust. Here's the plain version.

Same-day is often possible if you call before 10am. Next-day is typical for most weekdays. Saturday and end-of-month slots book out a week or two — book ahead if your date is fixed.
Yes — two hours is the minimum, which is standard across the local moving industry. Most 1-bedroom moves take three to four hours total.
Packing services (if you want us to box everything up), packing materials, long-carry or shuttle surcharges when we can't park within ~75 feet, and specialty items (pianos, safes, pool tables). Anything that might apply, we tell you in the quote.
Yes — and we'll help you navigate them. Most Chicago high-rises require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and an elevator reservation, both of which we handle. Call us before you book the elevator so we can coordinate the windows.
We bill the actual time, in 15-minute increments. If we quoted four hours and it takes four-and-a-quarter, you pay the extra 15 minutes. If it runs long because of something on our end, we eat it.
Yes — licensed through the Illinois Commerce Commission for household goods movers, and insured for cargo, auto, and general liability. Certificate of Insurance available on request for your building.
